Challenge
To provide a 1700 person construction camp, and all site utilities,
for people working on the Nova Chemicals plant expansion Joffre
site in Central Alberta.
Solution
ATCO Structures manufactured the units in the Calgary and Spruce
Grove facilities. The camp also includes two recreation complexes
totaling 17,000 square feet – complete with satellite
television, exercise equipment and lounge areas and the complete
renovation of a 40,000 square foot kitchen/diner complex designed
to feed 1700 people. ATCO also provided all site utilities
including water, sewer and electrical distribution.
